On 9th January, 2016, accompanied by Director Zhang Li, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Section students Bao Ke, Chen Minhui, Jiang Ying, Lv Jia, Wang Qingliu as well as Yao Jiaxin attended the 6th China Voice English Competence Contest in Hefei Sino-Canada International School on behalf of Anqing City.
This competition was co-sponsored by the Next Generation Working Committee, Provincial Educational Society& Professional Committee of Foreign Language for Primary& Secondary School Students, Provincial Colleges& Universities Translators Association in addition to Provincial Teenager Association of Art Training& Cultural Education Specialized Committee. The aim of this contest is to cultivate teenagers’ initiative& creativity, stimulate their passion& promote students’ comprehensive upgrade in English integrative abilities.
Anqing Foreign Language School’s candidates attached high attention to the event and made full preparations before it. Therefore, their fluent spoken English and confidence won judges’ unanimous favorable reception. More noticeably, judges hoped our school’s competitors would participate in national competition on behalf of Anhui Province next time if given the chance. Although the final results are due on 15th January, we have all the reasons to give our contestants thumbs up!
